A. No, you don’t have to become a member to enjoy our output but depending which level of membership you select you will receive special advantages, such as discount on webinars, priority booking, special live and online member events – more detailed membership information can be found here: https://www.gardenmasterclass.org/aboutmembership
Q. How do I keep up to date on what you are doing?
A. You can join our mailing list which we send out on a monthly basis or subscribe to our diary page and you will automatically receive updates on all events. To join our mailing list please go to the bottom of the home or the diary page.
Q. What does Garden Masterclass have to offer for people not living in the UK?
A. We have a very comprehensive online library of recorded webinars, live and recorded free talks, in addition to regular pay to view, live webinars. Our latest venture is films of the live, in-person events that took place from 2021 onwards. We are very excited about these, as they will offer our overseas followers a fly-on-the-wall experience of live events that they were unable to attend.
Q. If I am a student and unable to afford the ticket price for a live event, do you offer any concessions?
A. If you email us on gardenmasterclass@gmail.com and explain your circumstances then we will endeavour to offer you a discounted ticket. We do offer at least one subsidised ticket per event.
Q. How do I attend your free weekly Thursday Garden Chats?
A. If you use this link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83781125288 you can join us, it’s a different guest each week. Always someone from the world of horticulture, design or connected to the landscape and plant world.
Q. If I am interested in a webinar but I am in a different time zone or miss the screening, what can I do?
A. We do record most of our online webinars, (it is up to the tutor’s discretion) these recording automatically gets sent to all ticket holders. Of course, you can also watch recorded webinars from our library of past events.
Q. What happens if I book a live event and cannot attend?
A. If you cannot attend an event, a friend or family member is most welcome to attend in your place. However, you will need to provide us with their name, dietary requirements and contact email address/phone number as soon as possible prior to the course date.
If you cannot attend an event and we receive 4 weeks-notice or more – Garden Masterclass will refund the full cost of your ticket.
If you cannot attend an event with less than 4 weeks-notice we can offer you a transfer to another suitable event of the same value.
If Garden Masterclass has to cancel any event due to illness or very low numbers, we will give you the option of a transfer to another event of the same value or a full refund of your payment.
Q. I need a VAT number for my accounts, how do I get it?
A. In Ticket Tailor, our ticketing site, there will be an option downloading invoice when you get an order confirmation. Do this and the VAT number will be there.

For online events, if you buy an e-ticket and cannot attend or your internet connection breaks down we will endeavour to get you access to a recording; however we cannot always guarantee this, in which case we will refund you.

Garden Masterclass work with reputable third-party ticket providers, who use digital signatures and strong encryption to ensure that all sensitive information is protected throughout every transaction.
Garden Masterclass will send out a seasonal email newsletter to update our everyone on mailing list with all events, news and any special offers. We do not disclose or sell our mailing list to any other party. You can choose to withdraw at any point if you do not wish to receive news from us.
We may take photos or video at events for promotional use or for use in other educational materials. If you would not want to be included you must let us know at the beginning of the event.
Catering: We aim to ensure that all our events have quality catering. Dietary needs and preferences can be specified when booking. It is your responsibility to advise us.
