Far Reaches - plant hunters and conservationists

We chat to Sue Milliken and Kelly Dodson from Far Reaches Farm, one of the most influential and unusual nurseries in the Pacific North West. We talk about their amazing plant collection, their plant hunting trips and the Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy, a not for profit that aims to conserve significant plants that are new to North America. At a time when habitat destruction and climate change threaten many plant species such enterprises will play an increasingly important role in conservation.
