Tom Hoblyn - Planting in a damp woodland

Suffolk is one of the driest counties in the UK yet for a large part of the year, Tom’s woodland is underwater. As an experiment beginning five years ago, he began planting species to see how they would perform under such conditions, with a view to creating a woodland planting scheme requiring the absolute minimum of aftercare. Tom goes through in detail, his design process on how best to determine a successful and beautiful planting scheme for a damp woodland, a design process that can be adapted for any particular environment.
