Elliott, is Head Gardener for a Tom Stuart-Smith designed garden in Scotland. He formerly worked at Cambo and there became known for his skilfully designed and maintained perennial and seasonal plantings. Here he looks at the design, planning, layout and finessing of perennial plantings. This is a concise and masterful exposition of the process from someone who has thought through very deeply all its aspects.
