Darren Lerigo - The Modern Topiarist

Darren is a gardener who specialises in topiary and pruning. He travels all round the UK and USA shaping shrubs and hedges with his shiny shears. He's interested in exploring how topiary can be used in a contemporary garden. This webinar looks at the minimal tools you actually need in order to clip, the plants to use, the role of boxwood and topiary in the modern garden and what good pruning techniques look like.

The exciting part of any topiary making is in the composition - what shapes can be made and why you make them. He looks at design principles and share the secrets of the trade so you can go transform your own garden with a few judicious (audacious?) cuts!
