Noel Kingsbury - Weeds

Noel looks at the spontaneous vegetation that crops up in our gardens and plantings and discusses the extent to which it may, or may not, be problematic. He goes on to consider a variety of strategies to control plants defined as weeds, including chemical control. There is an interview with Adam Hunt of Urquhart and Hunt Associates about creating wildflower meadows through vegetation management rather than 'kill and start again' and a discussion on the use of glyphosate with Owen Hayman, who is a practitioner working with large scale wildflower planting in Sheffield.
