Don Whitton on Euphorbia

Euphorbia is a much loved genus amongst gardeners and designers. Whilst the flowers tend to be rather similar, the growth habits, lifespans and habitat tolerances of the large number of species in cultivation vary considerably. Don Witton, a UK Plant Heritage national collection holder talks us through the most commonly available species and tempt us with some lesser-known ones.
