Neil Lucas - Evergreen Grasses and Sedges

Although flowering grasses are well-known to gardeners, the evergreen grasses and their allies such as sedges and woodrushes are less well known. Coming from frequently difficult and testing situations, such as dry shade or wet and boggy soils, this relatively unsung group are invaluable to gardeners for their ability to cope with equally difficult conditions in our gardens. Beauty and utility! Neil takes a look at some of these amazing plants and how they can be used in our gardens and the built enviroment.
