Helen Picton – Asters, Glory of the Autumn Garden

Holder of the British national Aster collection and the third generation of her family to run a nursery, few are as well placed to talk about the number one late summer/autumn perennial genus. She focuses on the current taste for natural-looking  and robust plants, with lively descriptions of what she things are the most outstanding species and varieties. And she enlightens us about the recent name changes too.
